One day before ESOT Congress, every 2 years, the exam for being certified by the UEMS in Transplant Medicine, is taking place. This year, also elections for the Executive Board have been taken. The elected new Senior Secretary of the European Board for Transplant Medicine (EBTM) is Speranta Iacob, MD, PhD, senior hepatologist in Gastroenterology and Hepatology Center, Fundeni Clinical Institute, and a Romtransplant member.
